In an office where no one is a boss, in a flat organisational structure, it's pretty difficult to get the tasks done by others. You would not want to come across as someone who will make others work. Especially on a day before the weekend or holidays, no one wants to be given work. But the new work environments need people who can lead without authority. People who can motivate others to give their best even without being asked to do so. How can we do that? 

Apparently  Robin sharma already put this as  "lead without title"

Some of our friends wear great clothes, buy new gadgets and travel a lot. They live in big apartments, appoint maids, order food online and live luxurious life. They study in the same place that we do, they work in the same place that we do but you see them living a different life. 

Have you ever asked why?  It is because of their studies of their current job is not all that they have. They have a lot of money that they can spend on themselves. It's an unfair advantage but yes, it's what it is.
